Secret Kindness Agents & Giving Tuesday
As part of SHARE Omaha’s Giving Tuesday campaign, the Secret Kindness Agents will meet at Turner Park on Tuesday, December 1 to tie cold weather accessories to trees for those in need. Click here for all the details.
Serve Hope to the Homeless with Wohlner’s
Join Wohlner’s in Serving Hope to the Homeless this holiday season. The next time you’re at Wohlner’s, we invite you to make a donation to the Siena Francis House and support its mission of providing food, shelter and clothing to individuals experiencing homelessness.
Visit the tree in the Wohlner’s vestibule (coming after Thanksgiving!) and select an ornament with convenient, pre-determined donation amounts ($10, $20, or $50). When completing your grocery purchase, provide the ornament to the cashier to make your donation. Be sure to sign your name (or a special message), and all signed ornaments will be displayed in the store.
Round UP at the register! From December 1-January 1, round up your total and make a donation to the Siena Francis House.
Shine the Light on Hunger
In a unique partnership with Park Omaha and the Shine the Light on Hunger campaign, it is easy to donate spare change. There will be red and white parking meters on the sidewalks around Midtown Crossing from November 12-December 31. If you spot one of these white meters, please consider feeding the meter to help feed the community. The meters accept Credit Card, Coin, and Park Omaha App payments. These meters are located near Garbo’s Salon, Modern Love, LeadBelly, Farnam Court, and Alamo Drafthouse Cinema.
The Shine the Light on Hunger campaign, led by Conagra Brands Foundation, is a rallying call to support essential front-line hunger relief efforts and provide meals for those in need. All proceeds benefit Food Bank for the Heartland and the work they do to support and empower our community.
Support the 94.1 Diaper Drive with Makovicka Physical Therapy
Makovicka Physical Therapy will be collecting diapers for the 94.1 Diaper Drive, benefitting the Lydia House (Open Door Mission). Our drive will run from Monday, November 23 through Monday, December 7, 7am-6pm on weekdays. Everyone is welcome to participate!

Also be sure to mark your calendars for our cycling event on Saturday, November 21 from 8-10am. Drop-in, make a donation, cycle – and enjoy breakfast in the lobby!
