Midtown Crossing is hosting a holiday adventure so complete guests will need a map to chart their courses. Family Fun Day takes over the neighborhood – and kicks off the season – from 3 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 21. The fun-filled holiday happening includes more than two dozen attractions and activities for families to enjoy, including candid photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, craft-making, kids yoga, story time and The Salvation Army Holiday Carnival.
Saturday evening, Midtown Crossing debuts its bigger and bolder Holiday Lights Spectacular, a choreographed blend of light and holiday music projected onto Midtown Crossing’s condominium buildings. The shows will run approx. 20-minutes nightly – through Jan. 1, 2016 – starting at 7 p.m. Two surprise guests will launch the Nov. 21 Holiday Lights Spectacular premiere from the rooftop. The evening will be capped with a fireworks extravaganza.
“Our goal this holiday season is to encourage lots of togetherness, lots of great memories. We know things can get hectic, but when you’re here, we want you to relax and enjoy the wonder,” said Molly Skold, vice president – marketing and communications, Midtown Crossing.
Holiday activities are free to attend, three hours of garage parking included.
Family Fun Day is presented in partnership with The Salvation Army and the Omaha Kroc Center. Maps will be available in Marcus Midtown Cinema’s 1st floor lobby.
