Voters have delivered a blast of post-Christmas cheer to three of Miracle on Farnam’s creative contributors. Online voting for the most dazzling displays closed on
December 25, at 11:59 p.m., with a record-number votes – more than 12,000 – submitted.
The top three vote-getters are:
1. Ronee Smith, “Illumination of Love” (in Culprit Café)
2. Lauritzen Gardens, “Gnome for the Holidays” (in Suite 6109)
3. Lauritzen Gardens, “A Naturally Beautiful Gift” (in Della Costa)
Voting began on Saturday, November 17, when the displays debuted. Ronee Smith will beawarded $1,000 with second and third place prizes of $500 and $250, respectively. First launched in 2012, Miracle on Farnam has grown to showcase 23 spirited window designs – more than ever before – on Farnam St. from Turner Boulevard to 33rd Street. They will remain on display through New Year’s Day.
Each Miracle on Farnam storefront masterpiece was planned by local nonprofits, students and individual artists. A special thank you to all of our 2018 Miracle on Farnam Window Display creators:
