An expanded number of developments – four more than last year – are joining up to celebrate and showcase today’s vibrant midtown lifestyle during the 2016 Midtown Living Tour on Saturday, August 13. Combined, the seven communities represent more than 1,200 residential units in midtown Omaha, a testament to the popular demand that is fueling the resurgence of the midtown urban core and the recurrence of the Midtown Living Tour.
Midtown Living Tour apartment and condo open houses will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Then, from 5 to 8 p.m., the event shifts to a neighborhood “open house,” showcasing midtown retailers, including those in Midtown Crossing and the Blackstone Neighborhood, special deals and discounts. Further enhancing the experience this year – a free Living Tour Circulating Trolley that will run between tour stops from noon to 8 p.m.
The Midtown Living Tour is free of charge and open to the public.
Also on August 13, visitors to Midtown Crossing will be able to enjoy hutchFEST in Turner Park from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Hutchfest is a one-day Midwest maker’s fair featuring more than 100 highly-curated vendors, food, local brews and live music.
