Midtown Crossing’s ecofriendly boutique hotel, Element Omaha Midtown Crossing, is celebrating another top honor for one of its own. Director of Sales Kayla Jones has been named Starwood Hotels & Resorts’ national Sales Leader of the Year for the second time since 2014. The honor was announced at the company’s annual Select Service Meeting in Phoenix, AZ.
“Kayla is truly a talented hospitality professional, and we are very lucky to have her here with us at the Element in Omaha. Kayla has a real skill for building relationships, which is vital in her role as Director of Sales,” says Amanda Sampino, General Manager, Element Omaha Midtown Crossing.
Jones has been involved in hotel sales for more than 20 years, mostly in the Omaha area.
Sampino adds, “Whether it be with local companies who have guests traveling into Omaha on a regular basis or with a busy bride planning her wedding, Kayla takes the time to really get to know the needs of our guests so that we can personalize their experience with us. Kayla’s upbeat attitude and professionalism help raise the bar of service at the hotel."
