Annual Zydeco Festival Cancelled due to COVID-19

Festival Set to Return to Turner Park in 2021

Due to the global COVID-19 health crisis, Midtown Crossing has cancelled the popular Zydeco Festival scheduled for June 20 in Turner Park.  The half day Southern-style festival is a free concert event attracting thousands and featuring the finest, most treasured musical artists from throughout the New Orleans, Louisiana region.

“Though this was a difficult decision, our priority is the health and safety of our guests and performers. Rest assured, however. We fully anticipate being back next season with a blockbuster foot-stompin’ lively show,” said Molly Skold, VP of Marketing and Communications for Midtown Crossing.

Fans are encouraged to follow “Midtown Crossing at Turner Park” on Facebook for some zydeco-themed highlights and throwbacks on June 20.
