Yoga Rocks the Park
A weekly outdoor yoga and music festival, Yoga Rocks the Park offers a free, outdoor Sunday afternoon outing. The 8-week series features an all-levels yoga class, led by highly regarded yoga instructors and accompanied by live, local musicians.
Monday Night Movies
Blockbusters and family-favorites come to life each week on a 26’ inflatable screen at Monday Night Movies. Grab your blanket, enjoy some popcorn, sit back and relax with friends and family.
Bocce Ball League
All skill levels welcome for Game On Omaha’s Tuesday Night Bocce Ball leagues. Neighborhood restaurants get into the action and host teams each week and a tournament finale is held at the end of each season, crowning the league’s best team.
Wednesday Workouts offer a free mid-week outdoor workout to propel participants toward the weekend. Led by certified instructors from Genesis Health Club, workout styles vary each week and include popular favorites like Zumba, Pound, Sports Conditioning and Insanity.
Jazz on the Green
An Omaha institution for more than 35 years, Jazz on the Green is an ideal way to enjoy a summertime Thursday evening. Produced by Omaha Performing Arts, the weekly series features locally and nationally known jazz musicians and is free and open to the public.
The Night Market offers an eclectic mash-up of trendy vendors, delicious food & beverages, interactive games and live music. The night-time pop-up festival is held the last Friday of the month, May to September and has quickly become a crowd favorite for all ages.
Heading into its 6th year, the Zydeco Festival is a regional music (and food!) festival, featuring the finest and most treasured musical artists from the New Orleans, Louisiana region.
Midtown Crossing restaurants let their creative, culinary juices take over while offering delicious takes on Cajun and creole food favorites. Get your tastebuds ready, you might see alligator on a stick, crawfish boils, jambalaya, red beans and rice and more!
Dog-focused, free and open to the public, Woofstock brings pets, owners and community together in Turner Park for an afternoon of fun complete with a pop-up dog park, local vendors, live DJ, photobooth and activities to enjoy with your pet.
Omaha’s third annual Chalk Art Festival invites local artists and professional chalk madonnaris to transform stretches of Farnam Street sidewalks into artistic masterpieces. In addition to watching the artists at work, attendees are encouraged to enjoy live music, pick up lunch or a treat at your favorite restaurant and stroll the neighborhood.
