Element, Westin’s newest extended stay hotel concept, will operate a 132-room hotel featuring inspiring public spaces, modern style and eco-friendly design. Guests will be able to customize their rooms to meet their needs with the modular furniture, swiveling flat-screen televisions, large desks with open shelving, custom-designed closets, fully equipped kitchens and Westin’s signature Heavenly Bed. The Element Hotel building will receive the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification. Element by Westin will open at Midtown Crossing in 2010.

Marcus Theatres will develop and operate a five-screen movie theater at Midtown Crossing. The Midtown Crossing theatre complex will be unique to Omaha and the entire region with upscale finishes, in-seat dining and beverage service, two cocktail lounges and an auditorium that features a VIP balcony with reserved seating. The Midtown Crossing theater is on schedule to open in November 2009.
Prairie Life Fitness will mark its third Omaha location at Midtown Crossing. With just over 31,000 square feet, the club will feature a full-service health and fitness facility complete with indoor running track, cycling studio, mind-body studio and numerous group fitness and personal training opportunities. The new location will be located off of Farnam Street, and will be particularly designed to focus on the Midtown Crossing market and the area’s thriving business community. Prairie Life’s signature first-class locker rooms, massage, snack bar and nursery are also other planned amenities for the club.
