Architects of Air, a world-renowned visual experience, will serve as the awe-inspiring centerpiece of Sight & Sounds: An Unprecedented Week of Wonder, June 23 - 30, at Midtown Crossing's Turner Park.

Omaha by Design will present the 2011 installment of its highest honor – the Laurels Award – at its annual awards luncheon Tuesday, Jan. 31. The event will be held from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at the Happy Hollow Club.

Downtown Omaha lights up Tuesday evening with two great events – the second Creighton v. Nebraska baseball game at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha and the Bob Seger concert at Qwest Center Omaha.

Midtown Crossing, Omaha’s unprecedented urban development, is extending service tonight of its free event shuttle to Rosenblatt Stadium as a convenient way to move traffic to and from the Omaha Nighthawks season opener.  

 Three Dog Bakery, the original bakery for dogs, celebrates the grand opening of its Midtown Crossing location on Saturday, September 25, what promises to be a “four-legged, fun-filled day.”

 Midtown Crossing, Omaha’s unprecedented urban development, is set to celebrate the grand opening of another one-of-a-kind tenant: Callahan Financial Planning, an Omaha-based, independent financial planning and investment management firm. A grand opening celebration and ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on Friday, September 24th, 11 am, at 3157 Farnam Street. City leaders as well as representatives from Midtown Crossing and the Greater Omaha Chamber are expected.

Omaha, Neb. – Blanc Burgers + Bottles, a gourmet burger restaurant currently located in Kansas City’s upscale Country Club Plaza, among other locations, will say hello to their new home in Omaha, Nebraska having committed recently to Midtown Crossing at Turner Park. An opening date is scheduled for late August.

Mutual of Omaha, coming off a banner year despite the recession, marks its 100th anniersary with a celebration starting this week to thank its employees and its namesake city.

Condominium sales and apartment leasing activity has also seen a recent surge of energy, in spite of the economic challenges and treacherous winter conditions.
