» What are the types of Vendors that will be part of The Outdoor Market?

The Outdoor Market Vendor Categories are as follows


Full Season Vendors: Vendors that pay a stall fee for the entire market season & assigned a particular stall for each Saturday of The Outdoor Market. Full Season vendors are granted first right of refusal to reserve their stall season to season.

Half Season Vendors: Vendors that pay a stall fee for any 7 weekends.

Partial Season Vendors: Vendors that pay a stall fee for any 5 weekends.

Weekly Season Vendor: Vendors that pay a stall fee for any 1 weekend.

All vendors must fill out an application and will be notified of vendor acceptance via phone or email.

» What types of amenities are offered to Vendors?

The Outdoor Market Vendor Amenities are as follows:


• All Vendors will be provided: a 10x10 space that will contain: one 8’ table with qwik cover, two chairs, white 10x10 tent & sign displaying company name & location; this sign must be made visible at all times. Vendors are responsible for all other needs & materials. If you prefer to use your own tent, please indicate on your vendor application as you will receive a 20% discount. ALL personal tents must be white & 10x10 in size.

Produce Vendors: If you will need a designated parking stall to sell your produce goods out of your vehicle, please indicate on your vendor application.

» Whom do we contact during The Outdoor Market if we need information?

Information Tent


The information tent is located in the center of The Outdoor Market. There will be at least one on-site manager available at the information booth at all times. The onsite managers will be able to assist with vendor & supplier location, lost & found, announcements & any other Outdoor Market questions or concerns.

A safety kit will available at the information booth for emergencies.

» The Outdoor Market Rule Violation Policies

Rule Violation Policy


The Outdoor Market Management & Douglas County Health Department has the right to conduct onsite inspections without prior notice.

All vendors & attendees must respect the policies & procedures that Mutual of Omaha & The Outdoor Market management has put in place. Anyone who violates these rules may be at risk for removal from Turner Park & The Outdoor Market.

Each party hereby agrees, to the extent not covered by planitomaha & The Outdoor Market’s insurance to indemnify, defend & hold the other harmless the other from any loss, liability, costs or damages (collectively, “Claims”) arising from actually or threatened claims or causes of action arising from the indemnifying party’s gross negligence of willful misconduct or that of its respective directors, employees & contractors. This paragraph shall not waive any statutory limitation of liability available to either party nor shall it waive any defenses either party may have with respect to any Claim.

» The Outdoor Market Operations Policies

• The Outdoor Market at Midtown Crossing will run rain or shine.

• The Outdoor Market onsite managers will arrive on site at 7:00 am each Saturday. All vendors must be onsite by 8:30 am. Any vendors that are not onsite by 8:30 am may have their space given to another vendor.

• Vendors are responsible for collecting & reporting all required sales tax on items sold at The Outdoor Market.

• Vendors are responsible for all permits required to sell their products.

• The Outdoor Market reserves the right to limit vendors with certain products until an appropriate space is available.

• Spot inspections may take place if deemed necessary.

• All vendors must recognize & obey to all Douglas County Health Regulations (a copy has been included for you).

• All vendors must be 18 years of age or older.

• No public sales before 9:00 a.m. or after 12:00 p.m.

• Vendors are not allowed to bring any pets to The Outdoor Market.

• No smoking in or in front of vendor stalls.

• Electricity is available on a limited basis. Please arrange with planitomaha if electricity is needed. It is the vendor’s responsibility to provide a 100 foot heavy duty extension cord.

• Vendors are not allowed to leave before 12:00 pm even if they sell out of product.

• The Outdoor Market management has been granted the permission to use any photograph/video taken during the hours of operation, without payment or any other compensation.

• Subleasing or sharing spaces is not allowed. If a season vendor is absent one week, The Outdoor Market management has the right to fill the space with another vendor if previous arrangements have not been made.

• All vendors are responsible for collecting & placing all garbage in the designated trashcans. Vendors are responsible for bringing all necessary items for all other clean up.

• If food items are sold by weight, vendors are responsible for providing a state certified scale.

• Parking is offered in the surrounding parking structures at no charge for the first 3 hours & $1 per hour after the initial 3 hours.
